| 1) Requirement for creating a guild |

a) The character must be level 40 or above
b) The character must have 1,000,000 segel/daric. |

| 2) How to create a guild |

a) Meet the requirements for creating a guild.
b) Select the Guild Master NPC in the village and select the guild creation menu.
c) Enter the name of the guild to complete your guild creation.
(* The guild name can be a maximum of 12 characters long.)

Guild Master Functions |

| 1) Inviting guild members |

* The guild master has to invite the players he/she wants to have in the guild.
a) Press the 'G' key to open the guild window.
b) From the guild master menu, select Manage Guild Member.
c) Click the Invite Guild Member button and enter the ID of the user you want to invite.
d) If the user that received the invitation agrees to join the guild, then the person is added as a guild member.
* The number of guild member a guild can have will vary according to the guild master's level.
- 40 ~ 49 level : 25
- 50 ~ 59 level : 30
- 60 ~ 69 level : 35
- 70 level or higher : 40 |

| 2) Kicking out guild members |

a) Press the 'G' key to open the guild window.
b) From the guild master menu, select Manage Guild Member.
c) Click the Kick Guild Member button and enter the ID of the guild member you want to kick out.

| 3) Editing Guild Mark |

The guild mark has to be 16 X 16 24bit sized BMP file.
Name the file "guildmark.bmp". Copy the file into the folder where The Legend of Ares is installed (Default Directory is C:\Program Files\Ares) and connect to the game. Press the Change Guild Mark button.

b) Click the "Guild Mark and Color" button.
c) Click the "guildmark.bmp" and press OK.
d) Changing guild mark complete!

b) Click "Guild Mark and Color" button.
c) In a palette shown on the screen, select a color you want and click "Confirm".

| 5) Guild Storage Authority |

| a) Each guild has its own guild storage that guild members can share. The guild members can access this storage through the storage NPC. In order for a guild member to access the guild storage, he/she requires the authority from the guild master first. |

About Guild Wars |
There are two kinds of guild wars,a short term war and a long term war.
The results of the guild war are saved in the server.
1) War time
a) Short term war - 1 hour : If a winner is not decide during this time, the war ends in a draw.
b) Long term war - 3 hours : If a winner is not decide during this time, the war ends in a draw.
2) Conditions for starting a Guild War
a) To start a guild war, both guild masters must have 100,000 segel/daric each.
This money will be taken by the server when the war starts.
3) Declaring a Guild War
* You can declare a short term war instantly by typing in "/war [guild name].

* Results
a) The battle can take place in all areas including the safety zone. The guild that kills the enemy guild master first wins. The guild will automatically lose if its guild master surrenders or is disconnected from the game.
b) The guild master of the winning guild will take the 100,000 segel/daric that the opposing guild master deposited at the start of the war and also the 100,000 that he/she deposited. The winner will end up with 200,000 segel/daric after the war. If the war ended in a draw, then the 100,000 paid by both sides will be returned back to them.

About Guild Confederacy |
1) Establishing a Confederacy
a) Press the 'G' key to open the guild window and click the War' button.
b) Click Declare Guild Confederacy button and enter the name of the guild you want to form confederacy with.
c) If the other guild master accepts, the confederacy is established.
2) Breaking the Confederacy
a) Press the 'G' key to open the guild window and click the War' button.
b) Click the Break Confederacy button and enter the name of the guild you want to break confederacy from.
c) The confederacy is cancelled.
3) Limit on Confederacy
a) You cannot form a confederacy with a guild from the opposing nation.
b) The maximum number of confederacies a guild can establish is 3.
c) You cannot estblish a confederacy if the guild is in a guild war.
4) Confederacy Chatting
You can chat with your confederate guilds by typing in '%' before the message in the chatting window.

Appoint Rank and Reward |
1) Appoint Rank
a) Press the 'G' key to open the guild window and click the Manage Guild Member button.
b) Click on the Appoint Rank button and select the rank you want to appoint.
c) Enter the character ID and click confirm.
* You can demote them the same way.
2) Reward
A system where a guild master can give out rewards to guild members who has done a great deed in a war or other guild activities.
a) Press the 'G' key to open the guild window and click the Manage Guild Member button.
b) Click the Reward button. Enter the ID of the guild member and the reward amount.
* The maximum reward amount is 4.2 billion segel/daric.
3) Pay
Pay is a menu that guild masters use when he/she wants to give money to all guild members.
The guild master will enter the total amount of the pay. The pay amount will be distributed to guild members according to their ranks.
Please note that the pay will be only distributed to guild members that are connected according to their rank.
The remaining amount (the amount that should have been distributed to the members that are offline) will be returned back to the guild master.
a) Press the 'G' key to open the guild window and click the Manage Guild Member button.
b) Click the 'Pay' button and enter the amount you want to distribute to your guild members and click confirm.
* Minimum amount for Pay is 1,000,000 segel/daric and the maximum amount is 4.2 billion segel/daric.
